The house
It is Ploy’s own home. The facility and the person are one story.
- Nine rooms, one cat each. Every room has a window to the outside and three shelf levels.
- Each room has its own small exhaust fan vented outside — rooms do not share return air, to control disease.
- Air-conditioned 24 hours, kept at 24–26 °C. Backup power is an inverter battery and a small generator; the AC and the fans stay on through a cut.
- Each room is spot-cleaned morning and evening, litter changed daily, the whole room disinfected between guests.
- An indoor sunroom with large windows, opening onto a screened catio — one cat (or one household) at a time, rotated.
- There is CCTV in the corridor that Ploy watches. It is not streamed to customers — the evening message tells you more than a camera would.
There is no communal room. Cats from different homes never share a room, a wall vent, or the sunroom at the same time.
Ploy
Had three cats of her own; neighbours and friends started leaving theirs when they travelled; in 2022 she converted the ground floor of the house into nine rooms. She is not a vet, and the site says so.
Nan — Part-time — weekends and the peak weeks. Cleaning, feeding, and the daily play sessions — not the messages.
Since 2022. Named for what a settled cat does on a good afternoon — finds the warm patch by the window and stays in it.
