Staying here
Read this before you book. A few of these are conditions with no exceptions, and this page says why.
The vaccination gate — non-negotiable
- FVRCP (feline panleukopenia / "cat distemper")
- current within the last 12 months
- Rabies
- current
Proof at drop-off: the vaccination book or a clinic record. A cat without both current is turned away at the door — no exception. One unvaccinated cat in a nine-room house is a risk to the other eight, and panleukopenia is often fatal.
Health & fleas at drop-off
A short look-over — eyes, nose, coat, weight, a body-condition note — recorded. If fleas are found, a ฿400 treatment bath is done before the cat goes to its room, and it is not optional — again, the other eight.
Cats we cannot accept
- A cat with an active upper-respiratory infection ("cat flu") or diarrhoea — see a vet first, book when recovered.
- Un-spayed females in heat.
- Kittens under 4 months.
- FeLV/FIV-positive cats — boarded only in the isolation room (room 9), and only when it is free.
What to bring
- The cat’s own food for the whole stay — a diet change during boarding is how a cat stops eating. If you run short, Ploy buys the same brand at cost.
- Any medication, in its original packaging, with the dose written down.
- The vaccination book.
- Optional: an unwashed item that smells of home, one toy — not a favourite that cannot be replaced.
The drop-off record
Taken at drop-off, kept for the stay, and shown to you in the first evening message.
- 3–4 photos of the cat
- Weight — the number every later weight is compared against
- A body-condition note ("slim, coat good, small scab left ear")
- The food brought, and the daily amount fed
- Medication and dose

The standing vet consent (signed at drop-off)
Signed at drop-off. It authorises Ploy to take the cat to the cat-friendly clinic 6 minutes away — its name and address are printed on the form — and to authorise treatment up to a ceiling you set.
- Ceiling Ploy may authorise without reaching you
- ฿5,000 (you may set it higher or lower)
- Hard cap for life-saving treatment if nobody can be reached
- ฿15,000 (you set it)
- Second contact
- a named person with authority to decide if you are unreachable for 12 hours
- Euthanasia
- never decided by Ploy — only you or the named second contact, with a vet
Ploy is not a vet. The clinic is six minutes away and its name is on the form you sign.
